How to support us

How you can support Wild Things Rescue

Our charity is run entirely on donation and we really need your help to keep going. The cost of running a wildlife rescue is incredibly high and we need to raise approximately £5000 per month to keep going.

Our Expenses

What Your Donation Pays For

N

Vets bills

Medications, examinations and procedures.

N

Affordable Meals

Making sure everyone is well fed! Some emergency care food is very expensive!

N

Disposable items

Needles, syringes and gloves. These items help us to maintain good biosecurity.

N

Rent and utilities

Over the next few years we aim for our centre to become a vital central point for wildlife casualties in Lincolnshire.

N

Fundraising

Believe it or not, even fundraising costs us money!!

Support Us

To stay operational we need to raise £5,000 every month

It’s easy to forget that running a wildlife rescue centre means a lot of overheads!

There’ll be things that we have to spend money on that people won’t think about.

For example, in the last 12 months, we’ve spent £863.63 on phone bills, £1673.52 on Insurance and £3,001.39 on waste disposal!

People often think about the cost of food and vet bills, but some of the really hard hitters are the boring things like rent at £14,380!

Even things like needles and syringes for giving medication cost a fortune, with our last order costing just over £300!

The very best rescue there is. The best of the best! These guys have taken on and rehabbed babies I've raised before i had the means to do so, taken birds from me i couldn't rehab (due to space) as well as taken on animals I've been bought when I've been full or specific ones im not all that clued up on. Lucy is always there to offer me advice when its needed also, informative and without judgement. Polite, friendly but professional staff who do such an amazing job at something that is so so hard to do! Highly recommend Wild Things Rescue.

The rescue really helped me out when I found a poorly baby wild rabbit. I was happy to transport the rabbit to my local vets as the outcome was already known and the rescue couldn’t have done anything to improve that; I was just so grateful for them taking time out of their busy day to help advise me. Wonderful service covering such a huge area. Thank you for all you do
